8 prominent national institutes in Thiruvananthapuram join hands for collaboration in academic research fields

The institutions partnering in this landmark collaboration are:

1. Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB)

2. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER)

3. National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS)

4. Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (CTCRI)

5. CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST)

6. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST)

7. Centre for Development of Advancing Computing (C-DAC)

8. Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST)

This general MoU aims to foster mutual cooperation through the collaborative research programs, exchange of faculty and students etc. The initiative is designed to strengthen interdisciplinary research, enhance academic & research partnerships and promote

innovation across scientific domains.

The event will be honoured by the virtual presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Prof. Abhay Karandikar, Hon’ble Secretary, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, Dr. Kris Gopalakrishnan, Hon’ble President, SCTIMST and Shri. Sunil Kumar, Head, Autonomous Institutions Division, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. The ceremony will also witness the participation of prominent institutional leaders Shri.
